Is this an official Amazon tool?+
No. Shotlift isn't affiliated with Amazon. Every rule we check comes from Amazon's own published image requirements, and each verdict links to the page it's based on.
Does a pass guarantee Amazon will accept my image?+
No. We check the requirements Amazon publishes. Amazon can still reject an image for reasons it doesn't publish — if that happens, tell us from your report and we'll correct the rule for everyone.
What exactly do you check today?+
8 rules for the Amazon main image: pure white background, product fills the frame, file size limit, no text, logos, or watermarks, only the product in frame, a real photograph, minimum image size, large enough for zoom. Each one has its own page in the rulebook, with the source and when we last verified it.
Who fixes my photo?+

Can I use an AI-generated image?+
Amazon's main image must be a photograph of the actual product as sold — not a drawing, render or mock-up. An AI-edited photo of your real product can pass; we flag images that look like renders so you can check before uploading.
Is my image private?+
Yes. A report is visible only in the browser that ran it, unless you create a share link — and share links expire after 30 days. Reports are never listed or indexed.
Do I need an account?+
